Preventative maintenance is always important, however winter weather only escalates the need to make sure your car or truck is working properly. Freezing temps, slick roads, and ice-covered windshields tend to make existing vehicle problems even worse.
Since vehicle problems that are a nuisance in warmer months can turn life-threaten in harsher whether, we offer all of our guests a free Winter Safety Check. The free vehicle check includes the follow:
Antifreeze Check – Antifreeze fluid is just as important in cold temperatures as in hot. It’s possible for antifreeze that is too weak or diluted to freeze when temps go below 32 degrees.
Battery Test – Your car or truck battery gets hit especially hard in cold weather. We’ll test the strength of your battery.
Tires – As part of our Winter Safety Check, we will do a visual inspection and let you know of any potential problems noted.
Oil Requirements – Keeping your oil clean and at the proper level goes a long way in keeping your engine cool. We will check and let you know if your vehicle is in need of its next oil change.
Fluid Top Off – Finally, we will check and top off your essential vehicle fluids. (If you’re in need of oil or AFC, we will let you know of any additional charges.)
