Circle of Lights – Indianapolis, IN
Visit Downtown Indianapolis to participate in this 56-year-old tradition! Travelocity named the Circle of Lights as one of the top five “must-see Christmas trees” in the nation. It illuminates Monument Circle on November 23, but don’t worry if you’re busy that day, it stays lit through the entire holiday season.
Winterlights at Newfields – Indianapolis, IN
Watch the lights dance on the lawn of the Lilly House while you enjoy some warm drinks and handmade s’mores! The museum grounds glow with more than a million and a half lights and this year they are offering special glasses that will transform each and every light into a shimmering snowflake! Winterlights is open from 5pm-9pm every evening from November 18, 2018 to January, 6, 2019.
Lights at the Brickyard – Indianapolis, IN
(Indianapolis Motor Speedway)
Drive a 2+ mile course through the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (no speeding!) all while enjoying more than 3 million lights. The sparkling lights span over 500 different displays in roughly 40 separate scenes. This may be your only chance to ever drive across the world-famous “Yard of Bricks” start-finish line!
Night of Lights – Fort Wayne, IN
Downtown Fort Wayne will turn into a magical place with sparkling streets and family-friendly activities on November 21. The Night of Lights includes holiday lighting ceremonies from several downtown businesses and organizations and ends with fireworks at Parkview Field!
Light Up Charlestown – Charlestown, IN
When the holidays roll around, Charleston turns into an adorable Christmas village! You will be in awe of their animated light show on the square. You can catch the beautiful lights every night from 6PM – 11PM from November 23-January 2.
Land of Lights – Santa Claus, IN
As you might expect, a town called Santa Claus has a dazzling light display! You can experience the classic story of Rudolph first hand with a 1.2-mile drive-through light adventure told in brilliant LED lights located inside Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort.
Sharpsville Lights – Sharpsville, IN
Buckle up and turn up the radio. This computerized light show flashes beautifully to 10 songs that can be heard when you tune into 99.1 FM. The show has more than 120,000 lights covering two acres of land. The lights can be seen from the end of November until the end of December and each show lasts about 45 minutes.
Walkway of Lights – Marion, IN
The annual Walkway of Lights is a beautiful two-mile stretch along the Mississinewa River that boasts more than 2.5 million lights each year. Some crowd pleasers include a fire-breathing dragon and a 96-foot riverboat! Historically, the season opens with a parade the Saturday before Thanksgiving. There is a $5 fee per vehicle which allows for unlimited visits into the walkway for the entire season. The Walkway is open from 6pm-10pm through the end of December.
